Bob Schneider – Live at the Lake

If this past Labor Day weekend totally wore you out and you’re looking for some awesome and laid back plans this weekend, you’re in luck. Bob Schneider will perform at Lakeway Resort and Spa‘s Summer Concert Series “Live at the Lake” this Friday. Bob Schneider, along with Lake Travis High School’s “Battle of the Bands” winner Cole Burris, will be performing next to Lakeway’s resort pool with swim-up bar. That’s right, I said swim-up bar. I don’t know about you, but give me the the handsome and talented Bob Schneider plus a pool with cocktails, and I’m all set. Not to mention Lakeway Spa and Resort is an absolutely gorgeous venue with killer views. What more could I ask for?
Twenty percent of tickets sold for “Live on the Lake” this Friday will benefit one of my favorite groups in town — Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). HAAM provides affordable access to healthcare for Austin’s low-income, uninsured working musicians. If you know a musician in town, chances are HAAM has helped them out a time or two when they needed it most.
So I’ll see you out Friday at Live at the Lake. I’ll be poolside with a cocktail in hand!
