2010 Most Unusual; Studio AutoForma
Animal Lovers of Austin, Inc., in collaboration with the communities of Edgewick and Gabardine, present Barkitecture, 2011. On October 1 from 1-4:30 pm in the spectacular 2ND Street District, Barkitecture will raise funds via silent auction of unique, one of a kind doghouses created by Austin’s best architects, designers, and builders. Also featured will be a doghouse designed by Cesar Millian on behalf of the Millian Foundation. Proceeds will benefit local area animal rescue groups.
This dog-centric afternoon will be filled with activities that include a silent auction, a Lofty Dog Howl-o-ween Fashound Show, vendor booths, pet adoptions, and a Designer Pup Stop where attendees are invited to play with their pets. Sponsored in part by Austin Urban Vet Center , KGSR, and the 2ND Street District, Barkitecture is pet and family-friendly and free to the public.
