Those famous, full-size art cows that have been adorning the streets of downtown Austin can finally be yours! Celebrity guest Jay Leno will be in attendance as 40 cows are auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Superhero Kids Endowment at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Each unique cow was crafted by local Austin artists and features a different Texas theme.
There will be a VIP reception for the event from 5 to 6pm. At 5:30, Jay Leno will begin his meet-and-greet at 5:30, followed by the live auction at 6 pm. Tickets for general admission are $25 with mezzanine and VIP access starting at $100. To reserve VIP and mezzanine, call (512) 225-5299.
Philanthropist Milton Verrett and the company he founded, U.S. Money Reserve, are hosting this event which allows the public to purchase these famous works of art and benefit children.
“Austin is a great city to host this colorful fundraising event – especially because all proceeds benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center,” comments Mr. Verrett.

Make a bid and help a kid! Superhero Kids provides funding for the Children’s Blood and Cancer Center of Central Texas (CBCC) in order to enhance the quality of life for patients and family members during treatment. Oftentimes when a child is diagnosed with cancer or a blood disorder and begins treatment at CBCC, one parent has to stop going to work in order to devote their full attention to the child in treatment, which can last from one to three years, and in some cases, even more. Specifically, Superhero Kids provides financial assistance for non-medical expenses of families at CBCC that are not reimbursed by insurance. These include basic living expenses, transportation needs, and special education needs. The additional costs of battling pediatric cancer and blood disorders can be as unanticipated as they are extraordinary. Your participation and bids can help relieve the financial burden to some of these families in need.
